这支来自丹麦的乐队经过一系列演出之后，
终于在2004年又带来了他们的全新
专辑《Sweep of Days》。
综观整张专辑，
虽然不具备Trip-Hop阴暗压抑的氛围，
而且歌词所描述的也多半是爱情里的患得患失，
但是这次精心安排的配器、流畅优美的歌曲旋律、Kir几乎完美的人声表现、越发精湛的刮碟水准和节拍处理，
都证明了他们不但没有被频繁的演出消磨掉灵感，
反而以更成熟的表现再次证明了他们的实力。开篇曲“As I Moved On”开头Kir娓娓唱来，
其声音表现真是可以用吹弹欲破来形容，
尤其是“I was all alone, going for a ride.Travelling solo, off my guard”这几句，特别要留意一下这句唱完节拍突然连续重叠了几次，这个手法不算新颖，
但用在这里过渡到下一个小节特别合适。
“End of the Day”的开头更是开创了一个全新的挂碟和吉他组合模式
，先是由低沉的吉他和弹跳的节拍来回Loop，
稍不留神节拍已然演变成刮碟，没等你听得过瘾，它又恢复成先前的节拍模样了，
可过不了多久又一次象球落在地上弹跳一般，这次刮碟才终于露出了真面目参与进来，不安分的电吉他声也悄然响起，
但只是露一小脸，随后紧扣刮碟的节奏，随着刮碟声越来越精彩之后电吉他眼看就要完全展现出来，
不料这时万般娇柔的Kir声音也恰巧出来了
。

呵，感觉和从前的收音机头越靠越近了，尤其在这张"Lady Sleep"中的某些曲目，一直到"10.Yeah, Eventually She Goes"一曲变得赤裸和一发不可收，当然，我无从去考证他与Radiohead之间的关系如何，这只是作为一个乐迷的主观感受而已。全碟下来，一如既往的干净温暖，比之从前，似乎更加注重内心的挖掘了，第一曲"Birch"有着明亮的古典钢琴点缀，而高潮处，就像前面说的，难免令人联想起Radiohead。其后的诸如"Anaesthesia","Summer days In Bloom","Everything Inside Me Is Ill","Snow"等曲子均为甜蜜温馨佳品，实在让人讶异于这个帅气的男人如斯敏感的心路以及如同泉涌般的创作才情。
Avec ce premier opus de onze titres "chansons", l'humoriste âgé de 39 ans prouve qu'il a autant de talent pour l'écriture de sketches que pour celle de chansons douces-amères. Les fans du comique qui prendront le temps d'écouter ne devraient finalement pas être trop déroutés. Ils découvriront le même artiste, fragile, émouvant, qui nous parle avec sensibilité d'amour et de quotidien, mais cette fois dans un autre registre. "Chansons" est une jolie ballade entre jazzy et bossa, influencée par l'écoute de Chet Baker, Bill Evans, Tony Bennet, Joao Gilberto ou même Keren Ann et Benjamin Biolay. Le chanteur à la voix fluette, douce et suave séduit d'entrée avec "Mademoiselle A" qui ouvre l'album. Les mélodies sont impeccables, taillées sur mesure par des orfèvres en la matière comme David Koven, Emmanuel Donzella et Salvadore Poe qui a écrit deux musiques, "Vous" et "La minute de silence". Sur cette dernière, son épouse Lisa Ekhdal rejoint Elie Semoun pour un duo réussi. Autre duo, autre réussite: "Abécédaire" qu'il interprète avec Axelle Red. Il revisite aussi "C'était bien", écrit par Robert Nyel et popularisé par Bourvil. Comme l'acteur mythique, Elie Semoun sait émouvoir. Il partage cette qualité avec Henri Salvador qui l'a "incité à chanter". Leonard Cohen－加拿大人，在出唱片之前已經是一位在北美著名的作家、詩人與小說家，至今已發表11本書及2本小說。1966年，他以創作曲「Suzanna」被Judy Collins所唱紅，而被引荐參加新港音樂節 New Port Festival、意外獲致了唱片合約並於1968發表“Songs of Leonard Cohen”，一張精緻細膩不同於當時市場上的特異風格作品，並立刻成為經典名作。當時的Cohen已34歲，嚴然不是20歲的搖滾青年，更不是改革民謠將之搖滾化的Bob Dylan。但由於他所呈現出的文學意含、生命經驗，尤其低沈單調的嗓音， 反而特異出眾、深受肯定！
